Playing chess is beneficial for harmonious intellectual development of a child by way of game. Teaching chess playing helps to form independent thinking, decision making , action planning abilities, as well as development of a child’s spatial aptitude and character formation. The game of chess is good for formation of such valuable features as industry, diligence, independence and ability to concentrate.
The instructor offers a course of chess play training and training of professional chess-players for children from different age groups and degree of competence. The training course includes the game history, chess notation, the game rules, tactics and strategy basics, study of the heritage left by famous chess players and champions.
The classes objective is to awake children’s interest to doing creative art work, acquire an ability to employ fantasy and imagination. Children learn to depict objects with a variety of shapes, dimensions, colors, proportions, their rhythm, color combinations, build compositions, derivate color shades from the primary colors.
In class children get familiarized with works by great masters. They learn to see beauty in objects and phenomena around them, note the difference in their interpretation depending on the artist’s approach, the artistic means used for rendering of people’ mood and nature condition.
In our art studio children’s painting technology is gouache and water colors, they create collages and other pictures in the mixed-technique manner, study interaction between various types of art work. Classes are conducted by a professional artist/art teacher.
Lessons at the studio are aimed at revealing and developing children’s creative talents and physical capabilities through choreography. Dancing classes promote harmonious development of a child’s personality. Learning how to dance begins with getting to know a particular kind of dancing.
The programme offered by the choreography studio includes the following:
- – Choreography basics from the cultural perspective;
- – Four kinds of dancing: rhythmic gymnastics, folk dance, classical dance, modern dance, and contemporary dance;
- – Various approaches for each age group;
- – Each year of studying means learning particular information and gaining certain skills; at the end of the year, students are to take an exam.

Molding is a chance for children to try themselves in a new type of creative work, employ a wider range of artistic means. Clay is a special material, which develops and enriches a child’s resources irrespective of the child’s future artistic occupation in life. Clay is a wonderful natural material – manageable, warm and tender, unique in its transformation characteristics. Working with clay is extremely beneficial for the nervous system, it removes stress and helps to relax.
This art work is instrumental in coordination of hand movements, fine motor skills, and this, in its turn helps in development of children’s speaking skills, formation of image-based thinking, interaction with the material volume and plasticity, harmonious integration of the expressive means of form, line and color in one art work.
Regular classes ensure development of a child’s assiduity, ability to concentrate on a set goal achievement, overcome difficulties and bring to an end what has been started.
In class children make various cups, vases, plates and figurines. A baked clay object becomes a real toy, sculpture or decorative object – something that the child can use in everyday life or play with and be proud of.

Children need self-expression to get rid of nervousness, anxiety and discomfort. They must learn how to meet challenges, settle conflicts with other children and adults.
At these classes we help children to cope with their problems including fear and uneasiness. We direct and, support them, improve their attention, memory, imagination, acting skills.
However, it is not a theater in the traditional sense of the word. Here children also go in for English studies.
In-class English learning focuses not only on the learning of parts from some English plays for presentation on stage at festivals but on spoken English and on the formation of listening comprehension of English speech fragments , and on development of communication skills, expansion of English vocabulary, improvement of the monologue and dialogue speech.

Martial arts (aikido, karate)
Going in for karate helps a child to be in a good shape and acquire confidence. Karate classes improve mobility, correct posture defects, improve children’s mood, appetite and sleeping. Karate classes have a positive effect of the children’s attitude to physical exercises, games, day planning, basics of learning and cognitive interest to karate as a subject.

“SandArt” studio (psychological training + sand animation)
Sand therapy combines sand animation and psychological training and is one of the most widely used and universal methods of art therapy that implies creation of a game situation in which children feel safe and comfortable, thus building up trustful relationship with adults. At “SandArt” studio, lessons are given by the experienced certified psychologist. Children use special tables with highlighting and learn how to manipulate sand; they also use small toys, figurines, decoration, and natural materials.
Lessons given by “SandArt” studio fall into the following types: group lessons, individual lessons and pair lessons (child + mother).
The psychologist assists in the game process which aims at the following: development of communication skills and emotional stability, reducing anxiety, development of higher mental functions (memory, thinking, perception, attention, speech).
Such lessons are perfect for children who have difficulty communicating with others, and also for the talkative, the slow or the hyperactive.
In the course of lessons children learn to cooperate in the sand world, listen to the interlocutor carefully, collaborate and work together. Such lessons benefit social and emotional development.
Pair lessons (child + mother) – game is a primary activity of a preschooler, and also the most effective means of correction of relationship between a child and a parent. This kind of lessons is used to overcome difficulties in communication between parents and children.

“Tilda Doll” sewing studio
Basic sewing skills are useful for everyone. Sewing lessons given by “Tilda Doll” sewing studio help build manual dexterity as well as personal qualities, such as patience, attention and diligence. Basic seams can be learned by all children, including boys.
At the lessons children learn how to thread a needle, tie a knot, sew on a button or a tab, use running stitch, make appliqué using various fabrics, contour using chalk, cut figures according to the story and finally sew toy, dolls and clothes for them.

Tuition on the guitar (Ukulele) studio
Ukulele is a compact and lightweight instrument that makes gentle, sweet sounds. Both adults and kids can play it. Playing ukulele can also become the first step to playing acoustic guitar.
Children love to imitate. When they take the instrument, they immediately start turning machine heads, strumming and playing as they sing improvised songs.
There are two types of lessons: group lessons and individual lessons. The best option is to combine both, so that the child would have an opportunity both to attend classes and get private tuition.
We have developed a proprietary method of teaching young children. It is based on the peculiarities of young children psychology.
Our lessons educate the ear, improve sense of rhythm, build manual dexterity (for this purpose ‘finger style’ method is used – strings are plucked with one finger), and develop playing skills; children get more focused, diligent, responsive to other people’s feelings, emotionally developed and confident.
